Anthropology
Hello,
today I am going to talk about anthropology. What does anthropology study?
Anthropology is the science that studies people in their cultural and
biological dimension. What areas of specialization are there? There are 4
specialties: social, biological, archaeological and forensic. How was this
science born? It was born after the discovery of America due to the need to
understand the other (native American culture). How does anthropology differ
from sociology? Although there are differences since the birth of each, today
the main difference is in the way of working, where anthropology uses fieldwork
and sociology uses surveys. What is fieldwork? Fieldwork is a set of actions
aimed at obtaining data directly. Did it really help anthropology to understand
the other? I personally believe that it did, but Eurocentrism oriented that
knowledge in the wrong way and that is why what we all know about the native
peoples happened.

anthropology is very interesting
